th. Watson jr's Views of the Political Landscape
The political landscape changes with every election. Yesterday was no exception. A few of the incumbents were left out in the cold. And wondering what happened. What happened was this change is inevitable like breathing. The economy is in the worse shape it's ever been. And those whose watch it took place on are being held accountable. Plain and simple nothing complex. Just that people are tired of the roller coaster ride these past 30 something years. 2008, proved it. But those in D.C. the incumbents didn't get the memo. Thus in a few months they will be cleaning out their offices staffs let go ( more joining the unemployment ranks). To those who will be given the awesome responsibility of leading this country out of this mess, better take heed. If anything the next generations of voters will not be blue collar white male voters. This was their last harrah!! Come Nov.2010 A more diverse group of people Latino's Asians African Americans will be flocking to the polls en mass. For they do not like the direction this country is headed. There are those who seek to stoke the flames of hatred with their fiery rhetoric, for profit and ratings! Not realizing, as a well known japanese admiral once prophetsized after the bombing of Pearl harbor all cheered, except for him. said he: I fear all we've done is awaken a sleeping giant" So those who were not up for election this year had best take heed to those words! Thus change is a coming, and it ain't gonna be pretty!!!
